White cut-out - £32 River Island
Black strappy - £35 River Island
White w/ mesh sides - £38 River Island
Contrast Bandeau - £28 ASOS

I'm going back on holiday late August and since I have too many bikinis to count, I thought I'd try taking a swimsuit along with me for a change. This is just a few of my favourites, I'm swaying towards the white lace cut-out swimsuit, or the white Pacha one with mesh sides from RI, although the gold detailing puts me off so I'd have to cut that off!

If anyone has seen any nice swimsuits anywhere please let me know!

Khaki Heeled Mules - £55 from River Island
Nude Lace-up Sandals - £87.50 from ASOS
Mid-Calf Lace-up Heel - £34.99 from Public Desire
Beige Caged Sandals - £65 from River Island
Blue Tie Sandal - £39.99 from Zara
Brown Lace-up's £49.99 from Zara
Yellow Ankle Tie - £59.99 from Zara

Lace up sandals (a la Kardashian) are definitely having a moment just now. I got a pair of them last year and whenever I wear them I get so many compliments! I've been looking for a new pair of heels and these are a few of my favs on the highstreet right now.

Zara have so many gorgeous sandals right now, I'm finding it hard not to buy them. I really love the brown lace-ups (above),they would go with just about everything and will be super cute in the summer.

Public desire also have a huge collection of lace-up heels and have even dedicated their own click down link in the menu that goes straight to them.

Work-out Wishlist

Pink Waterproof Jacket - £15 race for life
Trainers - £20 Sports Direct
Grey & White Running Tights - £24.99 Puma via Sports Direct
Green & Black Tights - £19.99 Puma via Sports Direct

As I've recently began training for the race for life (sponsor me here), I've been buying more running clothes. I shouldn't say this but wearing nice clothes definitely makes it a bit easier and I know that i'll stick with it if I buy things for it!
I tend to go to Sports Direct for my clothes since they sell lots of brands so I have a lot of choice. I also love Primark's work-out clothes, but usually find it difficult to get my size.

I usually go for bright clothes, I currently have bright yellow trainers but I'm thinking of getting the blue and pink ones pictures above too. I really need to get a waterproof jacket too since the weather is so unpredictable in lovely Scotland. This one is from the Race for Life shop and is exactly what I'm looking for, and the fact that all profits go to cancer research is just a bonus.

V05 plump it up - dry backcombing spray
v05 give me texture - dry texturising spray

I borrowed one of these from my friend the other day and fell in love!
I went straight to superdrug to buy it, but couldn't remember which one she had and there was so many to choose from so bought these two since they were on a 2 for £5 offer and there wasn't anything else I wanted!

Now I don't actually have a preference out of the two yet, I feel they actually do pretty much the same thing, but I'll update you if I change my mind.

I like to use them once I have curled my hair to give it a light fluffy texture and also some volume.

Sandals - £20, Boots - £35, Orange Skirt - £20, Bodysuit - £8.99
Grey Skirt £19.99, Dungarees - £35, Bag - £19.99
I decided to do one big post with my recent purchases rather than a few small ones.

You might recognise a few of the items, and that's because they were in some of my previous wishlists!

I done quite a big ASOS order recently because I had a discount code for them, I also ordered some shirts for my dad but I didn't think anyone would want to see them.
I was so excited to try the cut-out boots but they're too big at my ankles. I did expect this though, so I'm going to have to return them.  I am in love with the sandals though! They look super cute on as they tie up the leg. I know that I'll wear them with EVERYTHING in Summer.

I also ordered the bright orange skirt from ASOS, it's in a nice light linen material and is an a-line shape so will fit into my wardrobe perfectly.

The other skirt I bought is from Newlook, I bought it in the camel colour a few weeks ago and went back the other day for the grey. I was actually about to give up looking when my friend spied it hidden away - there was only two left and one was in my size so it was obviously meant to be! haha.
The black bardot bodysuit (it's quite hard to see in the picture) is from Newlook too, but I bought it via ASOS. They actually sent me a size smaller as it was packaged wrong but because it's stretchy it still fits. I know it comes in a white so I might buy the other colour too since it sits lovely on and I find it so easy to wear.

The dungarees are from Next. I haven't actually worn these yet but will do an outfit post when I do! I'd been looking for some dungarees for a while and spied these on-line, however I need to warn you that the sizing is AWFUL. I'm usually an 8 but had to size down to a 6 and they're still quite roomy.

And finally the suede fringe bag (my new obsession) is from H&M. I saw this when I was leaving the store and fell in LOVE. It's going to be perfect for summer and festivals.
Jolen Creme Bleach Review

It was only recently that I noticed my upper lip hair, I'm not sure if it has actually gotten any darker than before or if I can notice it more because I have absolutely no tan but I just had to do something about it.
I decided that bleaching was my best option since I didn't want to actually remove the hair (the main reason being that I'm slightly scared it'll go wrong and I'll end up with a full on thick moustache... ).

The packaging is the only thing about this product that put me off, I feel that it's quite old fashioned and could do with a modern day spruce up to become more physically appealing.

The product however worked perfectly, I'd read a few bad reviews about it but I left it on for 10 minutes and was dark hair free!
The only problem was mixing the two powder and creme because the tray is flat but you could easily get round that by using another tray.

The product can also be re-used on different areas (in one session) for example on arms and then eyebrows so is very economical too!

NewLook Haul

Camel Skirt - £19.99
Zip Front Trousers - £14.99
Baseball Top - £12.99
Split Side Top - £14.99

I've been wanting a suede skirt for so so long now but I refused to pay a lot of money for it, but this came onto the NewLook website about a week ago and I just about cried with happiness. I'm loving suede right now and I also LOVE the Topshop suede biker jacket but it's just too expensive, I can't justify buying it.

I bought the long top and trousers for work for when the weather gets a big warmer.
What's in my stockpile?

These are a few of my essentials that I cannot live without. Most of these are things that I buy on a regular (ish) basis so that I NEVER run out.

Wilkinsons Sensitive Shaving gel - 95p
I've been using this for years and have never had any reaction to it what-so-ever so it's became my go-to shaving gel.
Since I epilate my legs I don't go through very much of this so it lasts for ages

Sensitive Facial Cleansing wipes - I can't find these on the website but they'll be in store
I can't rave about these wipes enough. I haven't been using these for long but I'll use them to remove my make-up before cleansing, but they always take off every scrap of make-up, including my eye make-up!
I picked these up originally because I was out of both micellar water and cotton wool and wanted a quick fix.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer - £4.19
I've mentioned this before in my posts so you might already know that this is my go to every-day concealer. I've used it for years and I usually repurchase when it's on offer.
It has won awards in the past and I know that a lot of bloggers use or have used this in the past, which just confirms it's legendary greatness.

Mitchum Powder Fresh Deodorant - £2.99
This deo pretty much just does the job that a good deodorant should! It smells nice and keeps me fresh, what more could I want?

Soap and Glory Mist You Madly Body Spray - £6.50
I like to keep this in my bag and it's just kind of habit to always repurchase this when there's none left!

Tealights
So I'm not very fussy about what brand these are but I've got to have some candles on the go at all times. I use these with my wax-tart burner. I'll usually buy them from Primark as its a big(ish) pack for something like £2. Although Wilkinsons also do a massive bag of either 100 or 200 candles, I can't actually remember and it's about £2 as well! The Wilkinsons ones aren't scented but it's hard to complain when it's such great value.

For those of you who don't know, insanity is a workout DVD that is exactly what it says .. INSANE.

I ordered this at the beginning of the year, I was feeling out of shape and was gaining so much weight.
I have been doing this for 7/8 weeks and I've got to say that it does get easier over time. However when I reached the second stage, I found the hour long workouts just too repetitive and boring so went back to the first set because I would dread the thought of the long workouts and wouldn't do them. It's better to do an easier workout than none at all!

You start off with a fitness test and then start the first round of workouts for 4 weeks with a fitness test every second week, although I usually miss out the fitness tests because I don't see very much point in them.
You then get a week of recovery where you do the same workout each day to give your body a slight rest before starting the second round of workouts.

The DVD set comes with a nutrition plan but I haven't used it at all and have been fine, just be aware of what you're eating and you will be fine.

I recommend this to everyone looking to get in shape, it's perfect for those who don't have time for the gym or want to workout at home.
I've always been a massive fan of buying and selling things on e-bay, I set up my account in 2012 and have been addicted ever since.
I know people who have never bought anything from e-bay because they don't trust paypal etc. but it's very rare to have problems. As long as you keep an eye on your account for any unexplained charges (fraud) then it's so safe.

Here's a few steps to get you started:

1. Download the app.
I find the app makes it so easy to uploading items to sell because you can just snap the pictures on your phone and upload them instantly - just make sure that the pictures are clear.

2. Declare any faults or marks on the item
Now it's usually clothes that I sell on e-bay so I'll always makes sure that the buyer know of any marks or problems with the item. You wouldn't want to receive something in an unexpected condition so be clear!

3.Timing
Having the auction end on a Sunday should create more interest in your item since it is a time that more people are on-line and browsing, so be sure when you set up the auction that it ends at an appropriate time and not 10.30 on a Monday morning when very few people will be active!

I've also got to admit that I have bought loads from Hong-Kong and China before, it's mostly been jewellery that was super cheap, and although it takes a few weeks to arrive the quality has always been good.

Shoe Edit

Leopard slip-on - Carl Scarpa 99 euros (around £75)
Lace up sandal - ASOS £20
Black ballerina - ASOS £22
Iridescent pointy flats- ASOS £35
Cut out boots - ASOS £35
Cut out heeled boots - ALDO £65

These are a few of my favourite shoes on-line at the moment. Of course the majority of them are from ASOS, due to me being OBSESSED with that website; I could literally buy all of my clothes from there for the rest of my life and be a happy gal.

I know that i'll be getting a few of these in the next few months, but my favourites have to be the iridescent slip on's from ASOS, they look so pretty and I can't wait to buy them. Although I'm not sure what's happening to me since I'm loving the sports luxe trend for this season although I've never been a fan of sporty shoes but I also LOVE the slip on's from Carl Scarpa. CHANGE IS COMING.

I couldn't resist putting a pair of boots in but I don't think I'll get these as they do look quite big at the ankle which is the bane of my life when buying boots. Although I might order them anyway and just return if they are too big.

I've also added in a few sandals that I'm liking for summer. I really want a pair of long gladiator sandals but I haven't found any that I like enough to buy yet, so give me a holla if you know of any nice ones!

I LOVE this stuff for giving my hair a bit of volume. I just spray it onto the roots when it's still wet and then blow dry it.

I picked it up a few weeks ago with the salt spray but out of the two this won me over. I have really fine, flat hair and this makes such a difference when styling it. The only downside about it is that if you miss a bit when drying your hair then it goes all crispy - which is never going to be a good look, but as long as you make sure that you haven't missed a bit then you're good to go.

The style expertise range is superdrug's own brand hair styling products that has just about everything you're going to need, from mousse to volumising powder, all priced at £2.99.

It's super cheap and super cheerful.
My favourite red lipsticks

From L to R: Bellapierre - Mandarina, Rimmel Apocalips - orangeology,
Avon COLORTREND - poppylove, Maybeline 24 hr colourstay - Fire Coral

Bellapierre - mandarina £20

I first got this in a glossybox last summer and fell in love with the colour instantly. It's a bright coral-ly red that looks amazing with a tan! These bright colours suit my complexion much better. I actually keep on losing this lipstick and keep having to buy it again, drives me crazy!
The range is available at House of Fraser, lookfanastic.com and their own website.

Avon COLORTREND - poppylove £3.75
This lipstick has the same tones as the bellapierre lipstick, but at a fraction of the price. It also has spf15 in it which is so important for the summer! It's a great non-commitment lipstick since it's so cheap so why not give it a go.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Velvet - orangeology £6.49
After buying a a few of the original apocalips, I didn't take much swaying to try the matte version of them. The colour is so rich and (strangely) feels really nice on the lips - a bit like velvet I guess.
I couldn't actually find a link for this particular colour anywhere but any boots or superdrug should stock it!

Maybeline Superstay bold matte - fire coral £8.99
This was my go to colour last summer and I can't wait to wear it again this year once I get a bit of a tan. The colour lasts for ages and ages! The only downfall about it is that it can go quite bitty on your lips.

OOTN
Top - Newlook (via ASOS)
Skirt & necklace - primark
Boots - Moda in Pelle
Rings - H&M and ASOS

My sister's boyfriend is in a band and they were performing at a pub in town last night and I had never seen them before so went along - I feel terrible saying this but I've forgotten the name of the band but I'll try to slyly ask tonight.

Now I'm not really one to go along to gigs and I thought it would be a bit out of my comfort zone but I really enjoyed myself.

I'm currently obsessed with the top that I wore, I just LOVE it. It's probably available on the newlook website too but I originally found it on ASOS. I would prefer if the top itself was a bit longer though - it's only available in 'petite' or 'tall' so I went for petite.
L'oreal Elvive Fibrology Review

I've been using l'oreal Elvive Fibrology shampoo and conditioner pretty much since it came out, it was originally the scent that pulled me in, since it smells soooo good - that and the fact that I have very fine hair. I always buy it now whenever it's on offer which is every other month or so, which makes it under £2 for a 400ml bottle.

The product is said to have a patented ingredient to actually expand the hair diameter to give long-lasting thickness.

I've got to admit that I don't really notice much difference in my hair when using any shampoo, never mind this shampoo, but it does give me clean hair and leaves it smelling nice - so it's ticks all of my boxes.
I always use products on my hair anyway to give it some texture so I don't really look for my shampoo and conditioner to give me that.

There is also a hair masque and a thickness 'booster' in the range. I've only tried the hair masque, which I use every few weeks (or when I run out of normal conditioner .. ), but I haven't bothered to buy the booster yet but I haven't ruled it out for the future!

-The full range is on offer at Superdrug and Boots right now and the shampoo and conditioner is currently £1.99- saving you £2.

Daisy Street crop top £17.99
New Look zip slim trousers £14.99
Monki split top £20
ASOS mono print cigarette pants £32
ASOS high waist navy crops £25
ASOS kimono cardigan w/ lace hem £38
Fashion Union spotted tie waist shirt £16

I've been looking at revamping my work wardrobe a bit because I'm starting a new job (still in the same store, just for a new concession; Carl Scarpa). Here's some of what I might buy. I'm absolutely loving the navy spotty tie shirt and can't wait to buy it and also for the weather to get a bit better so that I can actually wear it ..
The rest are just some basics that wont go wrong in any work wardrobe.
'Drug Store' Favourites

Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

Rimmel Stay Matte foundation is one of the only drug store foundations that I've used that doesn't cling to my dry skin; I feel that it has good coverage without being too cakey and dry. I usually mix two shades atm as I'm in between and sometimes wear fake tan.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

This is the only concealer that I've used for years. The reason? It works. It covers under eye darkness as well as spots and any unevenness in my skin tone. At only £4.19 it's an absolute bargain, I'll usually stock up when it's on offer so that I've always got a spare.

Soap and Glory Arch de Triumph

The pencil is my go to product and do't think I could live without it now. It is double sided with a highlighter on one side and a brow pencil on the other. I got my friends hooked on this too - it's just SO easy to use and suits all hair colour. It can be applied lightly or a bit more heavily for a more defined look, but what I do love is that it is nearly impossible to go OTT with this pencil.
Used just under the brow, the highlighter adds definition and more of an 'arched' look.

Unbreable Kimmy Schmidt is the newly released Netflix original series. It stars Ellie Kemper as Kimmy who is a 29 year old who has been living underground in an apocalypse cult. After she is rescued she moves to New York where she tries to settle in. She moves in with Titus - an aspiring actor, played by Tituss Burgess, who kind of coaches her through her new life.
Jane Krakowski plays her new employer as well as a mother and stepmother who is going through a rocky relationship with her absent husband.
Ellie plays Kimmy so well, she's very curious and fun without it being in any way awkard.

I wasn't sure what I'd think of this series but I'm really enjoying it! If you're a fan of Newgirl, The Mindy Project and suburgatory then I'd recommend giving it a watch, it's a very upbeat show that's easy to watch.

So far there is one series with 13 episodes - it also looks like a second series is confirmed.

ASOS grey furry £30
ASOS hologram £18
ASOS box with eyes £30
River Island zig zag £20
ASOS envelope £22
Matt & Nat grab £65

I find myself always using the same clutch bag when i go out, and it's a habit that I badly want to break so here's a few clutch bags that I found whilst having a browse on ASOS. I can see myself buying that box clutch with the googly eyes very very soon, it's far too cute!
I've got to say, I'm also obsessed with the grey furry over-sized clutch - I first spied it on llymlrs.com and fell in love, I definitely can't resist a bit of faux fur.

The other bags are ones that I just I would be so versatile and well used in any wardrobe. They are very neutral and wearable with almost anything (and yet not black) and also the zig-zag bag will make any black outfit pop.
Eylure Eyebrow Dye Kit Review

brown dye kit £6.89 - Amazon

I absolutely love this stuff. I bought it a year or so ago to use on my lashes, although due to new regulations it can't be advertised as a lash dye now, but I *believe* that it's still the same formula. I found it again on amazon at the beginning of the year and bought it to try on my eyebrows this time.
I wasn't aware of how light my brows were until I used it, it's so simple to use; just add two cm of the dye to 5 drops of the activator and mix until it doesn't drip, then apply to brows and wait for about 5 minutes, then wipe off - simple! I tend to redo my brows about every two weeks, although I could leave it much longer as it says on the pack that it will last up to 6 weeks, I just like to include it in my routine though so I don't forget.

The dye itself comes in two colours, black and brown. I find the brown looks more natural on me as it matches my dark brown hair! Now all I have to do is fill in any gaps with my beloved soap and glory arch de triumph pencil.

Vanilla & Fresh Berries wax melts £3.75 for 10

After only ever buying my wax melts from Yankee Candle, I decided to give these a try.
I wasn't expecting much, but I've got to say I might never buy from Yankee Candle again. These smell SO good. I ordered late on Sunday night and received on Friday, it's free delivery though so no complaints! They arrive in a small bag with ten to a pack. Now it suggests that you burn 2 or 3 at a time and I would say 2 is enough, I've never tried 3 but I think it would be a bit too overpowering. The smell reminds me a bit of raspberries, I just love it - I can't recommend them enough. The smell lasts about 2 tea-light candles although if you want it to be strong on the second burn then I would suggest adding a third melt.

I've already re-ordered 3 more packs and I can't wait to try some of the other scents that they have as there seems to be LOADS.

cuff bracelet £10 (2 pack) ASOS
ASOS Petite jumpsuit £40
New Look necklace £17.99
Carvela Giraffe sandals £140
ASOS strappy back body £18
New Look jumpsuit £34.99
ASOS wrap & cut-out body £20

With it being a bit colder I've swapped my dresses, skirts and shorts for body's, jumpsuit's and jeans. I've got to admit, I'm a bit obsessed with them now too, my number 1 stop is usuaully ASOS .. HELLOO student discount! Although even without that I always shop there simply because I've never had a single problem with them! Delivered on time and if I don't like what I get then it's so simple to return.

I'll usually style my jumpsuits with the legs slightly rolled up paired with some barely there sandals and a clutch. I like to keep it quite simple but will usually give a pop of colour with my shoes or bag.
I find body's much easier to style as they're pretty much a top, so jeans, skirts (I tend to go for midi's) and culottes with whatever shoes take your fancy!
